The Feast of the Nativity of Our Lady the Holy Virgin Mary
“Come with me from Lebanon, my bride.” — Song of Solomon 4:8
➕ In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, One God, Amen.

Beloved family of God and the faithful, how have you risen this morning in the name of the Holy Trinity?
Wherever you are, may the grace of Medhane Alem (the Savior of the World), the blessing of Our Lady, and the protection of the holy angels never depart from you!
Wishing you a peaceful and healthy Feast of the Nativity of Our Lady the Holy Virgin Mary!
As Abba Heryakos declared in the Liturgy of Mary (Qeddase Maryam):
“God the Father in heaven looked upon the East and West, the North and South, and all the ends of the earth in truth; He breathed and smelled, and found none like you. He loved your fragrance, and He loved your beauty, and He sent His beloved Son to you.”
This reminds us that Our Lady the Holy Virgin Mary eternally existed in the mind of God for the salvation of mankind, and she was found to be the crown of glory and boasting for all humanity.
The Virgin Mary was conceived and born of her holy parents, Hannah and Joachim, and lived protected by the Holy Spirit. She became uniquely the dwelling place and bodily manifestation of God the Son, so that you and I might obtain adoption by the Trinity and inherit the Kingdom of Heaven through His Holy Flesh and Blood.
May the intercession and prayer of Our Lady the Holy Virgin Mary never depart from you. Have a blessed feast!
