St. Michael EOTC Association in Prague, Czech Republic

The St. Michael Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Association is a spiritually-focused, legally registered association (spolek) in Prague, Czech Republic. Our association was founded to coordinate and strengthen the faithful of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church living in Prague and its surroundings in faith, prayer, service, and spiritual unity.

Our main objective is to build the spiritual life of the faithful, preserve the rites and traditions of the Church, and build a spiritual community where families, children, the youth, and all those who wish to grow in faith can gather together in unity.

Our association organizes prayer programs, spiritual teachings, charitable works, and mutual support initiatives. Through this, it contributes its part to help the faithful living in Prague and its surroundings stay connected to their religion, culture, and the rites of the Church.

The long-term vision of our association, by fulfilling the necessary legal and spiritual processes, is to establish an Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo local parish church where the faithful can permanently receive spiritual services, pray, learn, and stand together.

We lovingly welcome all the faithful, families, and youth who wish to grow in their spiritual life, learn the word of God, and draw closer to the Church.
